If you plant to invest in real estate in Santorini, keep in mind that the post card house of Santorini was mine for more than 20 year's and I still can't get my money from the local market, even if officially supposed to be sold !!!
Even that I can't confirm that a god does live in this hotel ,I can insure anyone that  if you fill sick and ask for help they will give it to you no matter what your religion is , or where you  come from...When I first visited Santorini I admit that I never pay any attention in the number of churches, only few years latter after being personally ripped off in Bali,  several times,  I made the connection between money and faith,  as  the sign of the most negative things could happened in the name of any god on earth!        It's true that Shakespeare is giving a clear vision of  religious people who  act with hate and mean before they start to pray,  but I though that time goes by and never returns!
Between  Hollywood and reality,the "Greek marriage "in  Santorini , reste as a dream for certain people ,but  we sertainly must know with whom we have to deal with!
After 2 years in Paris , I never felt away from Santorini!                    I definitely can't afford the same view here but still the feeling  of living in the center of the world, is as strong as never before  in my life!      I spend hours per day looking to find an apartment, after I was able to get some of my house value , so if you plant to visit Santorini think it over about real estate investment since in Paris with over a 10% up by year, anywhere you'll decide to invest it makes sense to  stay away from my own adventure , at least till the moment Greece decides to protect its own culture identity and respect the European investments , even if some merchants may believe that the tourists will never come back so let's rip them all off , since we 'll never gone seen them again!     If you do think that you may be interesting for a part of my own researches here don't hesitate to get in touch because I really know  a lot about the local real estate options for a safe investment!                 Contactez :  mailto:lesparisiennes10@orange.fr
It's truth that Santorini is the paradise on Earth but Christ  who destroy the Temple of Salomon did not do  the same,  for the marchants of Santorini! I rather  say the contrary.... Beware of those who use religion,  to make money!!!
