 P. K. Kanellopoulos ,

is the first person in Greece ,

who had realized the ability to study those pictures

 found in the  prehistoric  city

of Akrotiri ...

     His strangle was

to stimulate 

 the scientific interest about the fact

that we can use

the prehistoric material  as a unique source

of information about religion,

social structure and medical knowledge ...

    Since every woman in the frescoes

was painted with different jewellery,

as a son of a jeweler,

he thought of analyzing the symbols 

that they should hold, to create a modern

in aspect collection  but meaningful,

  so to complete two different tasks...

  1] To show the real value of art in gold

and silver as a culture provider.

   2] To  stimulate the scientific interest about the ability to study those pictures through their symbolic messages and compare with  other evidence

of later excavations in many different countries so to understand their significance…
